Signest provides data, not investment advice

1. Not investment advice

All data, indicators, charts and documentation provided by Signest are for information and research purposes only. They do not constitute, and must not be interpreted as, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security; an offer or solicitation in respect of any financial product; or personalised advice based on any person's financial situation, investment objectives or risk tolerance.

2. We are not a licensed institution

Signest is a sole proprietorship established in Hong Kong, and its business is software and data services. We are not a licensed or registered corporation with the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) or any other financial regulator, and we carry on no regulated activity under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571), including Type 1 (dealing in securities), Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management).

We never accept, hold or transfer client investment funds and never trade on anyone's behalf. The software is delivered for research and simulation: models run in simulated accounts, on your own machine, under rules you defined. Any decision you make afterwards, and the capital you put behind it, are entirely yours.

3. No performance guarantee

We have never made and will never make any guarantee of returns, capital protection, win rate or performance forecast. Historical data and backtest results do not indicate future performance. Securities investment carries risk, including the risk of losing your entire capital.

If you encounter promises of returns, stock-tipping services or "follow my trades" invitations made in the name of Signest, they are not from us — please report them to luhuabo@gmail.com.

4. Data accuracy

Signest supplies no market data. It parses and processes the feed you connect, which may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect because of the source itself, network transmission, system failure or events beyond our control. We publish the known limits of what can be derived from such a feed, but give no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or continuity of data we did not produce.

Because tick data is aggregated at roughly 3 seconds and snapshots are sampled at a similar interval, the Service is not suitable for latency-sensitive high-frequency trading or automated order placement.

5. Your decisions are your own

Any investment decision you make on the basis of data, indicators or analysis obtained through the Service, and every gain or loss arising from it, is entirely your own responsibility. You should form your own judgement in light of your circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a suitably qualified professional adviser.

6. Third-party content

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only, do not imply endorsement, and we accept no responsibility for their content.

7. Relationship to other terms

This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Service. In case of inconsistency, this Disclaimer prevails on matters of investment advice and regulatory status.
