Signest Privacy Policy
We collect only what is needed to set up and maintain your subscription. The market data you collect stays in your own database — we do not read it, upload it or host it.
1. What we collect

2. What we do not collect
- Not your payment credentials. Full card numbers, expiry dates, CVV and payment passwords are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Not the market data or queries in your database. The software runs in your environment and the data stays there — we do not read, transmit or back it up.
- Not your account credentials. Setting up a subscription requires no securities-account information of any kind, and we neither ask for nor accept such credentials.
- No sensitive personal information unrelated to the Service, no profiling and no targeted advertising.
3. How we use it
Only to provide and maintain the Service; process payments, renewals, refunds and invoices; provide technical support; send service-related notices such as renewal reminders, release notes and security advisories; and meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal data to third parties for marketing.
4. Who we share it with

5. Cookies
This website is static and sets no tracking or advertising cookies, and carries no third-party advertising or social tracking code. If we ever add analytics we will update this policy and seek consent where required. When you reach a Stripe-hosted payment page, Stripe may set its own cookies for security and fraud prevention.
6. Retention
Account and licence information is kept for the life of the subscription and for 12 months afterwards so you can reinstate or review it; transaction and accounting records are kept for at least 7 years as required by Hong Kong law; support records for 24 months; website logs for 6 months. Data beyond these periods is deleted or anonymised.
7. Where data is held and cross-border transfer
Our data is held with cloud providers in Hong Kong and/or other jurisdictions, and payment data is processed by Stripe on its global infrastructure. Your personal data may therefore be transferred outside your own jurisdiction. We use contractual and technical measures to keep its protection consistent with this policy.
8. Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and other applicable law, you may:
- ask whether we hold personal data about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data, so far as the law permits;
- withdraw consent previously given (without affecting processing already carried out);
- complain about how we handle your data.

9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), least-privilege access and regular updates. No transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If a breach is likely to affect you materially, we will notify you as soon as practicable and take remedial action.
10. Minors
The Service is intended for users aged 18 or above and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
11. Changes
Updates to this policy are published on this page with a new effective date; material changes are notified to subscribers by email.
